It looks like it's made out of paper...

 

And has decades old hardened chocolate inside?

 

That’s funny. When my five year old was looking at my gold coins with me... He asked me if he could have the chocolate that was in them.

 

And you said "no", "150 year chocolate is not good to eat anymore"?

Lol thanks everyone I never even noticed the date but it's a guy not in my state so I didn't get to touch it

 

Theres a video on youtube where someone has a chocolate coin from 1903 and opens it. It's pretty fun to watch.
