Probably more well known is the model for the Peace Dollar, Cafarelli de Francisci, was the wife of the designer Anthony. The Mercury Dime is believed to be Elsie Stevens, wife of lawyer and poet Wallace Stevens. However, many people believe the model was Audrey Munson, who this article is actually about. There is a ton of information on her online, and I just want to mention.a few things about her tragic life.

-Audrey Munson was born June 8, 1891 and died February 20, 1996 at 104 years of age.
