In the early 20th century she was a household name and considered to be America&#039;s First Supermodel. She is featured in 30 statues in the New York Museum of Art.</p><p><br /></p><p>-She was said in newspapers of the day to be seen in gold, bronze, and stone from Atlanta to Wisconsin, and Jacksonville to San Francisco.</p><p><br /></p><p>-Made four silent movies in a starring role, and the first starring actress to appear nude in a movie that was not pornagraphic. Many wanted her movies banned where she was nude, but were afraid this would end-up with much renaissance art also being banned. It was originally thought all the movies had been lost over time, but one has been found in France.</p><p><br /></p><p>-At the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition held in San Francisco she or her likeness were in three-fifths of all sculptures for the event.</p><p><br /></p><p>- A book was written about her: The Curse of Beauty: The Scandalous &amp; Tragic Life of America&#039;s First Supermodel. It is still for sale on at least Amazon.</p><p><br /></p><p>-In 1919 her landlord, Dr. Walter Keene, killed his wife stating the reason&nbsp; he was in love with Audrey Munson. She was questioned denying any romantic involvement and released.</p><p><br /></p><p>-At age 40 her Mother had her committed to the Ogensbury Psychiatric Institution. Upon the closure of this hospital she was placed in a nursing home , but had to be returned to the new hospital where she eventually died. The reason she was removed from the nursing home was for several times leaving and going to a bar with staff required to find her. She didn&#039;t have a gravestone due to no funds until june 8, 2016 distant relatives bought and placed a gravestone. She also went twenty-five years with no visitors until great neice found out about her and where she was.</p><p><br /></p><p>-These are just a few things about her, like a said there are a lot of articles about her.
