The coin itself is not a forgery. well perhaps a call to the ANA chapter in each of your respective ANA area representatives might have some influence.

Yep a way over priced hole filler. I hope to own one some day, but certainly not this one.

 

There is no Report this Item on the bottom of the page , I wrote the seller and told him I was reporting this to the ANA , and asked if he would do the right thing and pull this item . I reported it to Report fraud but with less than 4 hours left I doubt ebay will even get this by auctions end .

I agree with everybody even though I don't understand half of it! I admit I did spend a thousand dollars on a coin (and on fleebay I hadn't touched or looked into the eyes of the beholder of but it turns out I am glad I did. (the rent can wait) It was worth a 1000 bucks just to be happy for 5 minutes! LOL

 

I seen that on the bay and it is a real coin but date has been reengraved. I went to EAC this year and could of bought a couple of doozies for what that coin has been bid to! Bad photos and maybe deceptive but thats ok. would I buy this coin?, no way.

 

The seller just e-mailed me back and said it isn
t retooled that that is just the lighting , and said I was banned , banned from what , his sales no big deal , he should ban everone . No dialogue , just banned , well I better go cry in the corner .

If it's the lighting and the picture just makes it look retooled , why didn't he use a better picture ? Not too often is the date the strongest item on a coin . JMO
