coin identity?

    i've got a coin & cannot identify the origin. it has a man face on the front and on the back a crowned cross with a male figure standing on each side. it has a number 2 below this figure. it's in a language i can't identify. it's dated 1966. please help!

    Welcome to COinTalk! I agree with Drusus and rockdude, it is probably a Greek 2 Drachmai.

    i have one of these coins that is from 1973. i was trying to figure out if it is silver please tell me if it is or not.
