I got this today in a coin shop foreign coin bin today. I think I see the words "ANNA" on it making me believe it may be from Queen Anne. I also see the words "DEL GRATIA" on it. Anyways, I know it is old, but I just am not sure what it is. It is pretty beat up making it hard to identify. Whats weird is that the reverse has a strange wreath on it, very similar to an early US large cent.

I have a feeling that may be Portuguese or something.

While I'm not sure what your coin is, I can say with certainty that it is not a Queen Anne of England coin. Her legend reads ANNA DEI GRATIA with her head between DEI and GRATIA. See this thread to see what I'm talking about. All of her coins looked the same on the obverse.

Also, I believe I see "NNE" or possibly "WNE" in the legend, with a C, G, or O before it.

Looks copper too there was only patterns of Anne coppers. None went into circulation.
