coin grading help...

    what do you think???
    possibly very fine?? im not really sure...
    it doesnt seem to have any problems....

    I can't really tell from the picture...but
    does the surface look original or has there been light cleaning?

    Don't see any cleaning and VF would be very safe IMO, and maybe more.

    Well the Obv looks like it could go xf. But the reverse looks vf.
    I'm concerned about the date....what date is that?

    Let someone that is better with this type help you.
    I don't like the date looking worn when it's not really the high point. Plus it looks like a 1835 which would not have that face.
    But you asked for grade.

    Looks like it could make EF to me but VF+ is a sure thing. What is going on with the date though?

    the date is pretty weak that's what im confused about...
    the obverse details are good but I dont like the reverse...
    it's listed as 1855 VG braided large cent...
    as I look at it more...im starting to dislike it..

    The color does not look natural to my eye, but that could be the photos.
