I have to agree with TommyC03 no more Presidents on our circulating coins. How could we go for over 100 years without a President and then switch almost all of our circulating coins to Presidential coins. Ugghhh enough already. Let's get back to what Teddy Roosevelt wanted for US coinage; to be the best in the world. I wonder who these "experts" were that they surveyed. I don't know what the percentage is but it seems that a lot of numismatists, that I know, don't want to use Presidents for our coins. I would hope that would carry over to the currency as well. I'm assuming that's what the survey meant by "denomination".
Very much like election polls. They are not worth their salt until about three months prior to the election. IMHO. (This is about polls, not politics)
I'm sure @brg5658 would like this! What about champion racehorses like Secretariat, Man O War, Seattle Slew, etc. for the larger coins like the dollar, half dollar and quarter? Chris PS. We could use the skunk, rabbit and squirrel on the smaller denominations
