I can’t seem to figure out what’s happening with the “8” and the 2 “d” looking spots above the date. Any ideas?

Welcome to CoinTalk. Your coin shows post mint damage and is not an error.

Your 1986 is a Copper Plated Zinc Cent
The 8 had a plating blister that deformed it.
The rest are bubbles and damage.
As stated.. Not a Mint Error

Small breaks in the plating are developing zinc rot.
