Coin Displays

Sam. The OCD in me is having a panic attack not knowing your arrangement plan. With that said, I have a puddle of drool forming around me.

I hope I am reading you right about how I have arranged the display? If so, it's by numeric order. But it is also by quantity. The one cent and one dollar pieces each have a shelf. Two and three cent/dollar items share one shelf. Then units of 5, 10, 20/25 combined, 50/100/500 combined. Other shelf's contain Civil War tokens and another for fractional paper currency. (Primarily brought about by the civil war as well.) A shelf for silver bullion and then two others for modern U.S. coinage. Past themes have been territories, possessions, islands and commonwealths that the U.S. has owned or occupied. Exonumia and the reverses/ backs of U.S. coins and paper currency, each a separate theme. Fairs, conventions and exhibits as one theme and commemoratives as another, etc.... There are quite a few ways that displays can be developed. I throw in a few stamps and first day envelopes to add a little variety.
