As a eBay seller, I felt sick to my stomach. But I looked at all the time and resources it would of taken to get rid of it so quickly. He did give me very fair prices on all the sets with gold in it. All the silver was melt plus a few bucks.

At the end of the day, cash money in my pocket. No stress.

Unfortunately, half of that went to paying off my MBA :arghh:

Solution: Take the remaining half to the casino and double-down on red! :troll::greedy:

    I agree.

Specialists in a series (or variety collectors) will cherish an ANACS attributed coin, but they are generally in the minority (and thus, cannot overcome the generally lower prices that ANACS will garner).

Well, I dont recall ever getting a dealer discount on an Anacs Morgan. I would be in hillbilly heaven if i could buy them for less than sheet prices. I dont purchase coins off the Bay because i enjoy cherry picking un-attributed Vams. The coins I have looked at over the years have all been spot on grade wise in small white holders. I cant say that for the other 2 companies. Being that Anacs is #1 in Varieties and Vams just solidifies this hillbillies opinion as they obviously know their way around a Morgan dollar

are we talking about 30% of retail or 30% of gray sheet?

30% of retail... he pretty much gave me greysheet plus a few bucks. Except on gold, I got better deals on that.
