Not necessarily. Now with the internet, they can capture many more in very little time. Before the internet, the guy would have had to physically cross paths with a kid, and the kid in this internet deal was probably not a kid at all, but an adult posing online as an underage kid.

Years ago Chris Hansen had a TV program called "To Catch a Predator". They had a group that would sting these predators online. They caught cops, teachers, a Rabbi, a cancer doctor, and even an assistant prosecutor in Texas. That prosecutor committed suicide when they went to his home to arrest him.

I think that's why they discontinued the show. Because of the suicide. I remember in 06' I had a group of female co-workers who were talking about the show in the office one day. That was the first time I had heard of it. I, in turn, watched a few episodes just for the hell of it. The one I remember was when the guy showed up and the narrator popped out and said "Did you bring your drums?" LOL that was funny. But not for the guy who got popped.

I do not agree at all. Almost 4 years ago members started taking political stands that eventually led to severe damage to this forum. The large portion of the Ancient coin groups left and some experts in various areas started a new forum and it is quite successful as they were mainly our former members. Any smackboards (other than coin related ) are not needed here to cause the same actions to occur as 4 years ago. But I am just a member, not a moderator or owner. Jim

And some people still say that "people are inherently good". Those people that say so are "inherently stupid".

That’s right. Civilization was born of the suppression of primitive behavior with the advent of law and order.

Inherently good? That’s not what history tells us.

I'm sure he was talking about @Barney McRae's post above. I'm inclined to agree with Jim; that sort of thing is probably better suited for PartisanLines, or really anywhere else but here.

I still watch law and order, there used to be these good ole TV shows called westerns. The East started there, disruptors with only personal intent were eliminated from society, don't get me wrong I wouldn't resort back to having criminal on the street.

True offender's only have one thought in their mind, and that is themselves.
