Coin damage repaired?

    Is it just me or has this coin been repaired? In the test cut and under the owl's feet? Thanks atticacloseup.jpg

    Looks okay to me, and that would have been an unusual place for a test cut. Let's see the whole coin.

    The coin definitely does have a test cut on the neck. I see no way to say if it has been improved beyond cleaning just from the photo. Are you seeing something filling in the cut to lessen it?

    Yes, Doug that is exactly what I meant. It looked to me like there was possibly something filling the cut to lessen it.

    That is what it looks like, but to be honest, I wouldn't mind as long as it was priced as one with a test cut.
