You can see from the pictures that this coin has some heavy PVC contamination. The color you see is NOT toning as I would consider it,&nbsp; but rather caused PVC residue. It&#039;s icky and sticky and could easily be smudged with the touch of a finger. This coin was given a acetone soak of about 30 minutes and then it was washed in distilled water. There were a couple of spots of light brown toning caused by the residue and a very quick properly executed dip removed most of those.
