He had casually been saving some coins over the years, not collecting uncirculated coins, but tossing cool old coins he got in change into a bucket. In 1964, he actively started acquiring silver quarters, knowing they were moving away from silver the following year. With the price of silver where it is, and the interest level in these coins where it is today, I have decided to sell these coins.

I'm a collector, but not a coin collector. I have a lot of experience selling on eBay (8600+ positive and 99.9%) but haven't sold coins there. For those of you who buy on eBay, a range of expectations would be very helpful. I didn't count coins, but I did sort them as follows: 30's - 50's 25¢ 1960 - 1964 25¢ walking liberty 50¢ 1964 Kennedy 50¢ 1965 - 1967 Kennedy 50¢ Franklin 50¢ Roosevelt 10¢ And there are a handful of liberty 25¢, mercury 10¢, buffalo 5¢ Total weight on all of it is about 45lbs, so there are a lot of coins.
