Tuned in “Chopper” on the CCN this morning and
was wondering if any of our members have had the experience of buying from him?
    All comments appreciated,

You know, there was that carnival barker vibe to his spiel.

Not saying all the coins sold on TV are ripoffs but from what I have seen they are atleast 3,4 or even 5 times over the average price but most of the time you do get a very pretty presentation boxo_O My Dad got in to a Littleton ad and was buying high mintage common (raw) Morgan's , without hurting his feelings I just said be careful and he said he would but I finally had to get a Redbook out and show him, he got the hint and stopped but not before spending a good amount of money on overpriced common and sometimes cleaned or over dipped coins and he did get that very very nice wooden presentation box;) after that he went with the ASE's direct from the mint.

    HI JK,
I appreciate your sharing & suspect a lot of us oldsters are being taking advantaged of/lied to, about the collectibility/investment value on most of these TV sales shows.

Chopper is good for outrageous entertainment value, but not for good coin buying opportunities.

Ask yourself who pays for the TV studio, pretty girls, and his Porche???

Why you sir/madam the customer pays for it via outrageous prices.
