We've compare libraries. ;) Listen, I know some think its silly to have such a library, but I am into a different type of collecting than others. I cannot just go to PCGS and look up mintages, or get an estimate on value. Heck, with all of these books, I had to go out recently and buy 3 more because I got some coins that NONE of these books covered. I still think my library is still at the "tip of the iceberg" stage, and I have hundreds of more books I would like to own. Even saying that, anyone who thinks that just because they collect US or modern coins I believe is severely shortchanging themselves by not owning such books. Are you REALLY going to collect SL halves and not own WB? Are you REALLY going to collect large cents and not own the references? There is a real reason why the BOOKS are used as references, and not websites. Anyone can change anything on a website whenever they feel like it, books are permanent, exactly what you need for a reference. I know many getting into the hobby feel books are a waste of coin money. In this hobby, however, knowledge means money. The more knowledgable you are the more you enjoy the hobby, and the better deals you will recognize. Besides, my library has retained its value better than the coins, and the Chinese aren't counterfeiting them either! Chris Btw didn't mean to derail your post OP. I didn't have a pic handy of the mess of my coins, but I completely feel your pain. :(
