I recently made up some Excel spreadsheets to track a coin collection. I just have to type in the data now. Access is a good program, but it is a bit more difficult to set-up than Excel. One thing that you should decide in advance is what do you want the program to track for you? Do you just want a listing of coins with information on the cost of the coin, when you bought the coin, the mint and year of minting, etc? Do you want to track the changes in value over the years?
