I do like the coin. I already have a complete MS Franklin set, but this one is better than the one in the set, and the same for its brother 1954P, so if I did sell, I would be thinking about that fact for a while. But as long as I decide within a short while to either make it raw, or if NGC offers replacement, do that, the coins will last a lot longer than me. I have been in this lovely game for long enough that there is no rush to buy or sell. Coins at my level will always come and go and come again.

The thing that does bother me is that I am so old, I bought a coin long ago that the original firm doesn't seem to remember it, and most people have never seen one. Maybe I should email Teletrade also and see what they remember. :)

whew! a 64, I had thought a 60 and just added 5 to it since it seems I am almost always under by at least that much. Thanks for the education desert gem.

Great thread, Jim, I feel somewhat redeemed by my 'enviro' comments despite totally missing the grade! I've never seen a coin packaged like that from the Stone Age of Teletrade...

Well, I was totally off base on this one. Thanks to Jim and all you folks for the lesson...:)
