Yea fallout 5 is coming real soon - except not a game but in real life lol. but as someone else said, if it were pepsi I would get it then
I for one can't remember the last time anyone had a good guffaw about potentially deadly radioactive fallout, but hey, that's just me.
@Lemme Caution Those Millennium's - am I right No one would want to live in a world like fallout, if you played the game you would understand my comment, they use bottlecaps as currency and seeing this thread reminded me of the game.
I'm afraid at 70 I neither play video games nor do I know anything whatsoever about them. Both my 42 year old son and same-age son-in-law would likely know a lot more about this than I do, but unfortunately they are far too busy raising their respective children for me to query them about the particulars. I meant you no disrespect, believe me, but not having the required context of the game I obviously was a bit taken aback by the concept of fallout in what appeared to be a inappropriately humorous framework. No harm, no foul, I guess is what might best describe this little inadvertent misunderstanding all around.
@Lemme Caution Your fine, I figured you did not know I was talking about a game. Also god bless! To me it is rare to find 70+ year old's on the internet. I wish my mother would be able to - she is bed bound and just has a tv and phone to entertain her, I live with her to take care of her for the past 6 years and plan to stay until the end. But I really find it amazing to find people such as your self at your age online, I mean that in a really good way, to be honest I have been seeing it more and more - even on ebay you got 80+ year old's selling items and going to the post office to deliver it. Also I do not mean you are old , It is a great thing to have people such as yourself with a lifetime of experience and to be able to talk with them. with that said, I hope I am not sounding strange, and glad we have a bunch of great people on cointalk.
Trust me, I totally appreciate your wonderful sentiments regarding me and those of my age group. It is, in fact, a real joy to meet someone like you on here who is so very aware of his special and unique place in life and also willing to make the world a better place for others as well. Your mother is indeed very fortunate and blessed to have someone like you to stand by her in her time of need, and since I do believe that those who give so generously and lovingly of themselves are also most certainly destined to receive. I think of this cannot but bodes well for you and that your life cannot help but go in a very, very positive direction. Thank you.
That isn't always true, some of the "legal tender" NCLT coins out there CAN'T be spent even in the purported country of issue.
Oh god, it gets even worse. I'm not buying even a single one more of those North Korean 99.99 uranium Dear Leader binocular lense coins!
Agreed, I live in a town of a thousand people and can think of three people that collect coca cola memorabilia.
I remember reading many years ago that the major source of income for the country of Liechtenstein was the sale of stamps to collectors. There is no real difference in doing it with stamps or coins. If a country decides that’s a way to make money for their treasury - more power to them. But I won’t be buying any of them.
Maybe it's been posted on already and if so I apologize. Is it the U.S. Mint that is considering making this coin? All I know is it has a $29.95 price tag.
Not the US mint, they probably wouldn’t be able to figure it out anyway. It’s a Fiji coin MCM had done.
Thank you my friend. It was only posited as a question from Dave Harper last month with no story behind it. Cheers!
As @baseball21 mentioned it is a Fiji coin and it was commissioned by MCM (ModernCoinMart) https://www.cointalk.com/threads/coca-cola-fans-rejoice-is-it-crazy-if-i-like-this.305610/
Not at all, I want one myself. If you can can you get me the info of how to order one, or do I have to go through eBay,???
