I have also seen Coca-Cola silver art bars at coin shows at .999 generic silver premiums but the dealers who sell them at coin shows (with some exceptions) will treat them as .999 generic silver. The dealers will not care about rarity value or collectable value. They will just care about metal content and will price it accordingly. Of course they are cheating themselves out of extra money by selling them for only .999 generic premiums. Coca-Cola silver art bars will ALWAYS have a collectible premium on ebay. I am saying this based on past observations of past Coca-Cola silver art bars. Ebay is the best place to sell collectible silver art bars for much more than melt even after ebay and paypal fees.

You are right that in the end that silver is silver is silver and it does melt the same, however, they all will not sell at the same premium. Ebay is a good example of what type of silver art bars will sell for what on there. You will be surprise at how much some of these Coca-Cola silver art bars sell on ebay.

For example, the OP got this bar for a few dollars over spot from his local dealer. The dealer there treated it as .999 generic silver. The OP's dealer either 1.) did not either care about rarity value or 2.) did not know about how much of a premium they can sell for on ebay. However, when the OP sold it on ebay, it fetched a winning bid of $730.00. Silver is silver but it does not sell the same. It depends on what type of silver you are selling (i.e. rare silver art bars) and it also depends on where you sell it at (i.e. ebay).
