I had never seen hammered coins at this particular show, so I enthusiastically looked over the table. There were 3 or 4 well dressed people at the table and no other customers. Not one of them even acknowledged my existence. There is no way they didn't see me because I had to lean over the table to see the coins. I was dressed in weekend duds and so maybe they thought that I didn't look like someone who could buy such coins, but I owned a few of the coins in their case already. I looked at the people sitting at the table and not one of them made eye contact or said a word. So I left the table. I might have bought something from them otherwise.</p><p><br /></p><p>These are just a few of the very recent experiences I've had and I can understand why newcomers to the hobby would feel extremely put off by such behavior. I will not buy from someone who outright ignores me, regardless of what they have in their stock, especially if I am the only one at the table at the time, which was the case in both instances above.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
