I honestly don't know much about collecting. As far as grades and all the different abbreviations etc. My extent was googling the year and type of coin and seeing if it was worth anything other than face value. How ever I'm learning as I research more and more. I'm looking for any advice I can get. I have a bunch of Lincoln cents from 1930 to present. Alot of which in really good shape.

Either purchase a Red Book online, or go to your local library and check out a copy. It will have images to help you learn grading, as well as show you the mintages of each year and mint of issue, and the approximate value. The prices are retail estimates, but it will show you which are the more valuable pieces. If you have a good local coin shop, go in and ask questions and look at lots of coins.
