Love GB coinage! Been a US collector my whole collecting journey until last year. Now on a mission to collect 1 coin from each monarch going back to the vikings!

No proofs yet so this would be awesome!

A very nice coin! And it is an interesting coin in Britain's history as the farthing ceased to be legal tender after December 31st 1960.

I know it is really late in the game, but that is a very nice coin. I do have a few coins from England, but none like that. Looks like a wren on the reverse, the Carolina wren is the state bird. For what it is worth, I do have a picture of two beautiful buntings at our feeder (an indigo and a painted).

We used to travel a bit and always took our bird book with us when we did. When we moved to South Carolina we would go to Hunting Island State Park every chance we got. That is where we got our first sighting of the painted. What a bird! We got really excited several years ago when they showed up to the farm; we now see them annually. Hope you can spot one soon.
