Such a nice coin, especially in that high grade.
The six pence only went until 1966, so this is a nice historical piece from the last few years of production.
I really like the Kangaroo and Ostrich designs for Australia.
    Thanks for the contest!!!:)

I reason I would like that coin is because I still want a slabbed world coin for my collection!
I bought this at a coin show this summer:

Entry post. Thanks for the contest Joshua!

If I win I'll be gifting the coin to my brother in laws father. He's an Aussie coin collector and him and his wife are coming to the States for a month from roughly Halloween to Thanksgiving.

My sister went to college at URI and did a semester abroad at James Cook Univeristy in AUS back in, I wanna say, 2010. My parents told her not to fall in love over there but... lo and behold, she did! Her and her husband Laurence have been living back here in the States since about 2012 and in January of 2014 they got married in Hawaii since it was roughly equidistant for my BILs Australian friends and family and my sisters east coast US family.

While in Hawaii we visited Pearl Harbor. I bought one of my most treasured coins while there. As far as financial value is concerned I have more valuable pieces but the memories attached to it are priceless..

I also met a Pearl Harbor survivor while there. Had a nice conversation with him and he signed a fascinating book I got at the gift shop.

Hawaii is a beautiful place full of beautiful people. Prayers to them. Wishing for a speedy recovery from the Lahaina fires. RIP Everett Hyland 1923-2019. Like the rest of your brothers in arms you may be gone, but your spirit lives on.
