My current ride. I love my truck. 7.3 powerstroke chipped and tuned in 2000 they made a lot of coins I couldn’t care less about. And this truck cost over $40k. Now almost $100k. I didn’t pay close to either when I bought in 2012

I would be much interested to see occasional progress photo's of your 40 Merc. I wish I still had the energy to do a ground up rebuild like that.

 

My '40 Merc has been a project for a long time - 22 years to be exact! I work on it diligently for a few months and then it will sit for a year or two. Life has an uncommon knack for getting in the way of ones plans. Sometimes I just lose interest as well. Hopefully one day soon I will at least get it back to street legal.
