    Hmmm. This is quite tricky in the respect that independent Mexico made these in massive quantities for export. As such, I'm going to guess the coin in question happens to be an 1836 8 Reales (unknown mint).

    There’s a king of Spain on the obverse, I’ll say that much.

    Unrelated, but here's a Bolivian 8R I sold back in February.

    My example isn't exactly also but it's got nice detail and quite attractive for being underwater for a few hundred years.
