    WELCOME TO OCTOBER!!! :woot:

We're finally here! I've been counting the weeks, months, and days since June. Many's the steamy summer day when I've looked at ladymarcovan and said (sweatily, panting in the humidity), "Is it October yet?"

    Well, now it is! Finally!

So who's ready for the drawings, eh?

Time to fire up the ol' random number generator again...

Well, folks, the random number generator has chosen the lucky number for the winner of Prize A, the "pick your prize" option. And that lucky number is ...

    108!

    ... and Post #108 was by... @goossen!

Congratulations, Hans! You've won another one!

So it seems the 1753 double-escalin will be going back to Europe, unless you change your mind and opt for a different prize.

I will need you to remind me of your shipping address again, and will send you a private message shortly. I had this coin priced at $22, so your $25 voucher means I'll add an additional $3 worth of mystery goodies to your package. :)

Belgium (Liège): silver 2-escalin of Prince-Bishop Johann Theodor of Bavaria, 1753

Can't win 'em all, Sal. But people's odds in these ain't bad. Keep on entering, and the random number generator may smile upon you one day! ;)

We get what, a few dozen participants each time, in these monthly contests? So it's not like some big mass-market, corporate thing where you've got one chance out of thousands. Everybody gets one chance out of a few dozen, is all. Which is how some folks get lucky more than once, like @goossen, here.

As I recall, he had the good taste to choose this toned 1915 Peruvian half-sol in one of my past giveaways.

Hey, I still have yet to do the Quarter Notes Giveaway #4 drawings shortly, if I can get these drunk wedding guests to go back to their rooms. Haven't done a lick of work yet on my real job tonight, aside from a little bit of that kind of babysitting...

Oh, wait! We still have one more drawing to do for THIS contest! There's the Churchill crown. Let's pull another number out of the metaphorical hat, shall we?

    Stand by...

    @Treashunt !

Congratulations, Frank! You won Prize B, so no 1848 cent this time. However, you have won an Uncirculated 1965 British Churchill Crown. If you already have one of those, I can send a substitute inexpensive-but-fun item of some kind.

Oh, also, the winner of the @robec US coin giveaway never claimed his prize after a month, so there's about to be a re-draw on that one, too!

Drats! Not even close on Prize A, but at least closer on the Churchill. Congratulations to @goossen and to @Treashunt for their wins. And of course, a big thanks to @lordmarcovan for sponsoring these great giveaways.
