    what are they... 1 US dollar a piece? I looked it up and apparently 100 trillion Zimbabwe dollars is only $70 in the US.

    I think the ones with trillion-dollar denominations might be fantasies. 100-billion is the highest denom I see in that Wiki article I linked to in the OP.

    They’re more than a buck apiece, but quite reasonable. All over eBay, of course.

    You could say that. Perhaps making the interval between entries 4 posts instead of 2 would make future contests more orderly.

    Not a bad idea. I seldom do these "guess the number" contests. This one proved slightly more popular than expected. Which isn't a bad thing, even if it went all zigzaggy there after a while.

    Not a fantasy. I have 3 or 4 of them. They weren't meant to be released to the public, just used between banks. When everything went to pieces they started sell in them.
