These drawings are done based upon the post counter at the bottom of each post. For example, this is about to be Post #147. Look at the small text at the right side bottom of the post and you will see the post number (if you’re not viewing on a mobile phone).

I take the numbers from #1 to the last post that was made before the drawing, set that range of numbers into the random.org number generator, and pull a random winning number.

If it lands on one of my own posts or an ineligible entry, I just draw another number, repeating the process until it lands on the first eligible entry.

@love old coins - your package is in the outgoing mail. I had fun with the vintage stamps. Many are from the 1940s and 1950s.

That top right stamp is beautiful. I think you send FFIVN and I a package with one of those on it.

Those are the modern “Goddess” Liberty stamps ($1, $2, $5 denominations). You should be able to get them at the post office.

PS- note that the very same Liberty is on that modern $2 stamp on the right and also the aquamarine 3c from 1950 on the far left.

That is just too cool! I'll be saving that envelope for posterity! Not only did I win two beautiful coins, I'm also getting all those lovely vintage stamps!
