Thank you, Cheech. You’ve shown a thing or two here about generosity, yourself.

If this entry is selected, I would like #25, the 1923 Mexican peso. I started actively collecting coins this week instead of just setting aside anything that looks neat. My first goal to put together a set of New World crown-size silver coins. Doing so might take a while on my budget as a student, but that will make the project's completion all the more satisfying. I have some other (newer) Mexican coins mixed into my current "collection," and I think Mexico has a very consistent track record of minting beautiful coins. This one is no exception. Good luck everyone!

#35 is my choice. My parents use to save these. After their passing, the ones they had sprouted legs and walked off. These coins bring back fond memories.

Actually, that coin #17 (the 1852 large cent) is pretty well worn. Down to about G4 or so. (Though pleasing enough otherwise.)

If you really want a "not worn 1800s coin", then #21 (the 1885 Austrian kreuzer) would be the way to go, since that one does happen to be Mint State, with some original red remaining.

But there's nothing wrong with the 1852 US large cent. It just does have some wear on it, is all.

Yes, I stopped putting specific end dates on these contests, since I can never fully predict when I might be away from the forums. Let me tally the last two entries from over on the CU forum, and then we can have a drawing soon.
