I just learned how to play with an AI image generator. Neat, huh?

Hello, everyone, and welcome to the latest giveaway. This will be another one of my "pick your prize" contests, so you can hopefully win something you'll like.

    To enter:

    1. Go view my Giveaway Gallery.

    2. Post an entry here, stating which prize you would prefer.

    3. State why you chose what you did.
NOTE: That last bit is important. To qualify, you have to not only pick a prize, but also say WHY you picked it. Just a few words will do.

However, if you are entering on someone else's behalf (which you may do), you are not required to pick a prize or say why. Your designated proxy will get to pick their choice later, if your entry wins for them.

Your prize choice need not be final. I do periodically add new prizes to the Giveaway Gallery, so if you win the drawing, you'll be given a chance to change your mind at the end, if you see a new prize you like more. I just enjoy reading everyone's initial selections up front, since it gives me an idea of what folks like.

Click the pic below to go to the prize gallery.

The drawing will be done via random number generator sometime on or after the date mentioned at the top of this post. The timing will depend on my schedule. You may consider the contest open for entries until such time as I have posted the final result of the drawing.

Totally free: the contest is free of charge, open to everyone, with free worldwide shipping. The only further requirement is that if you win...

Please post a receipt in this thread after you get the prize, so we'll know you got it (that helps me keep track).

    Good luck!

    Numismatic regards,

    ~Robertson ("Rob") Shinnick ("LordM")

I will enter.. and my prize would be the three coins, because I love the idea of two Christopher Columbus commemoratives and I don't have those and I am really intrigued by the Ferdinand and Isabella circa 1475-1504 I love history and to have a coin that actually was one from that time is really extra special.

In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue.....

Thank You LordM for the new contest and another chance at the Omaha hoard war nickel. It needs to come home to Omaha. I'm in.

I was about to say, “Wait! That’s the prize in CTF Giveaway #1, not mine!” But then I remembered I have one, too. :p

I intend to buy more goodies for the Giveaway Gallery when I’m at the FUN show in Orlando this month, so by the time we have the drawing for this contest, there should be even more prizes to choose from!

As mentioned above, if you win the drawing, you’ll get the option to pick one of the newer prizes later, if you like one of them more than the prize choice you’ve already posted.

I'm in again. I would like the United States: 1964 silver Kennedy half dollar, clipped planchet error. Who doesn't like a nice a nice silver error. And it goes nicely with my other errors.

I perused the goodies that are up for grabs and would like to throw my hat in the ring as well and step on @expat ’s toes in the process. If this entry post would come up in the random number generator, I would also choose the Greek piece.

I was born July 24th and my Zodiac sign is Leo.

I’d love to win that 1873 Seated Quarter. As I’ve mentioned in the past the only seated quarter I own looks like it went through a wood chipper!

Please count me in again for the 1896 Morgan. I'll keep trying for that dollar until it's gone no matter how many times it takes! It would fill the empty album slot nicely, which still seems destined to remain empty.

Happy new year 2025! I fancy that 2024 Australia rectangular dragon/Charles III silver coin - it would fit right in with my silver art bar collection. ;)

I will speak for the 1895 Quarter since for some unknown reason I find myself assembling an 1895 year type set. Just, sorta happened. I don’t really have a connection. And I need a 25 cent hole filler.

That would be a good trick, since I own no such coin.

I don’t know where you’re seeing that one. Certainly not on my Giveaway Gallery page. (?) o_O

    Happy New Year!
I'd like to be in again for the pair of silver dollars.
I've always liked Silver Dollars, especially the Morgan, and the Peace Dollar would be a nice bonus.

I pick the Hungary: 1541-KB silver denar of Ferdinand I, Holy Roman Emperor. I don't have any coins with a Roman Emperor or a coin from the 1500s.
