    I do have a gold coin (a US one dollar gold coin my wife got me for our 50th anniversary). I also happen to have a coin from India (and am totally clueless about how I came to own it). But I don't have a gold coin from India. Thanks to LordM for another exciting and very generous giveaway.

    Entry post - I have a half sovereign that my gran gave me, but it's the only gold coin I have ever had. Would love this teeny tiny thing. :joyful:

    I have owned a gold coin before. Kind of... Turned out to be fake, seller did not want to refund, fought him on it, and eventually he acquiesced. Yay.

    I am entering for my son who does not own a gold coin. I am hoping that, in doing so, I will rekindle his interest in coin collecting.

    First, the drawing for the "have nots"- the folks who have never owned a gold coin before. I kept pulling random numbers until the first such person came up, and that lucky number was #40.
