The first coin that I remember having in my collection was a Steel Penny. I showed it to my friend, and we figured we had hit the jackpot. It looked much less nice than any of the three shown below.
I am still new here, so thank you for the opportunity to win some cool prizes!
These are some rare dateless Buffalo's I been soaking in vinegar for awhile.
Two of them are showing dates. The third is a Type 1.
Again appreciate the giveaways! Always excellent to see this going down!
Ill share my newest piece, shipwreck treasure!
Maybe I will find one of these someday while CRH
1, 3, 7, 6, 5, 4, 2
@lordmarcovan closes the contest? (It's ok if i don't get counted, i am 17 hours late oops. I always forget to enter because i want to sit down and make my prize list at a computer and i generally am on cointalk on my phone)
For this month I share the story of when my favorite bank teller gave me 2 morgan dollars. I came in asking for halves she said she had some really old dollar coins. Of course i assumed they were 1970s ikes, but then she showed me. I was so shocked i asked her if she was sure she didn't want them! I do not think i will ever sell those coins just because of the story. I still see that teller every Friday! She hasn't given me anything that as good (yet) since.
No preference on prize
Looks like TPG took extra care packaging that coin up.
Good luck @Kasia! I hope you find one. I found my first and only one a short while back. This after searching 471,000 halves! Cheech tagged me so I could share this again. Oh, the humanity!
I have probably only searched 30,000 halves in the past 20 years, so odds certainly are not there for me. But I could get lucky I guess.
November giveaway, let alone launched the December one.
Sorry for the delay. I'll catch up as soon as I can. Gonna continue to be absent for the next few days, most likely.
Hope your ok.
I hope all is well with you and your family.
Hope everything is ok. Look forward to having you back.
