    I've only recently gotten back into collecting coins. I've been getting my granddaughters silver eagles for their birthdays, graded MS70, hoping they will use them for college, or to make a car payment. Maybe they will catch the bug like I did. I have the first coin I was given as a birthday gift, a 1925 Peace Dollar, the year my father was born.
    I like the Special Mint Set, as it's my birth year.
    My most prized is my set of coins the year my Dad was born (as I stated, 1925) and my set from the year both of my grandfathers were born (1899). I have a Black eagle Silver certificate from that year, as well.
    Thanks for all you guys do to promote the hobby!

    I know. I myself often post to a thread, then post again weeks later, forgetting all about my original post.

    Sorry about your mother. I'm not looking forward to that. My folks are getting up there and experiencing the frailties of old age now, but they're still around, thankfully.

    I have far too many coins I strongly desire to even begin detailing here. I'm not creative; so that one's out of the question. Considering the holiday on May 28, I thought this photo was immensely appropriate. It really brings a pang and happiness to my heart - all at the same time.
