    Entry Post!

Thank you so much @dwhiz for the contest!!! I am 15 years old and I have been collecting for over half of my life. If I win, my first pick would be the Booker T Washington half dollar. I don’t have any of the silver commemorative halves yet and I would love to get one.

The coin related post is this cool 1937 D 3 legged Buffalo nickel. Does it matter that it’s the size of the palm of my hand? I think it might be a coaster...

I'd like to think that I may have had a small role in your decision to run this contest for YN's, but...................

.........why did you have to choose Proof Kennedy's for the prizes? I just started a Dansco for Kennedy's not long ago. :(:(:(:(:(:arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh:

What if less than 8 members participate does that mean you could win more than one item?or does it keep on going past the end date until enough people participate?

Thank you @dwhiz for the awesome giveaway. I was reluctant to enter as I am 18 but now I see the criteria so I am entering.

Here's one of my favorite coins, a 1935 San Diego Commemorative half dollar that was used as a pocket piece for some time. I bought it from Bill Fivaz a while ago for close to spot.

"I will use a random generator for each of the 8 numbers till I get 8 winners."

What are you using for your random generator?

    Some might ask.

"Can a computer generate a truly random number?"

Thanks to Geritol I feel like I'm 21 again.

My random generator is a large piece of paper with squares of numbers. I place it under a tree that has many birds and wait for them to -bleep- on it. Works pretty well until the squirrel messes it up.

    ENTRY POST

Seeing as I'm under 21 and working on expanding my collection, I think I'm good to enter this contest.

An interesting fact I learned recently is that Edward VIII insisted that his left profile be portrayed on coinage during his reign, breaking a long-standing pattern of alternating the direction monarchs faced on coins. However, since he abdicated after a matter of months, no coins were issued with his likeness. The result is that the two numismatically consecutive monarchs George V and George VI both face left, picking up the pattern disrupted by Edward.
