@1stSgt22 you find a lot of cuds? Is that something you search for often?

This contest is only for stuff found since June 1st of this year, so that’s not permitted, but it’s a great find, and especially nice for a dug one!

The thread had sunk below some of the closed contests. Since it is still active, I pushed it back to the top. Two more entries and we can do the poll and wrap it up.

If I could find something, I would! Just asked for half dollars at the bank. They didn’t have any, of course.

I have found 2 other coins that I would like to enter but sadly there are no take backs in the contest and when this is over it'll be too late. But I've showed both coins off in other threads so I'm OK with that.

It ain’t much, but I got this 1957 Wheat cent in change this morning. Looks like a Brown UNC, too. Well, Choice AU+, anyway. There’s traces of original red peeking around the date numerals.

Well dang, I have no idea which box, cubbyhole or dark crevice that it has gotten to…. Some years back, I emptied my pockets after a day perusing beach hideaways and danged if I didn’t find a worn slick V-nickel in my change. It was so slick that it was barely recognizable as a V-nickel. Too bad I can’t find it, woulda made a fine contribution to this thread.

I found this last week in my pocket change if it qualifies. It’s a 1919-S wheat cent. I wish it didn’t have the hole but @lordmarcovan suggested in another thread to make it a lucky piece for a key chain. I like that idea so that’s probably where it will go.

Thanks to @meandyou4ever0 for suggesting to enter into this thread.
