I've done it several times myself. Not in a giveaway contest, but I've posted a relevant coin in some thread or another, only to later discover I had already posted it months earlier and six pages back!

Maybe in the future I won't disqualify people with multiple entry posts, but just count only the first one as valid instead. Had that been the case here, it still wouldn't have helped you, though, since the random number generator landed on your second entry post rather than the first.
