I had all of the Bank of Upper Canada Cents and Half Cents. I can't put pictures because when my oldest son got interested I gave the set to him. He is working on filling in the different varieties.

I forgot about that pair of Vickies!

Speaking of Vickies, these were from the 1901 Victorian type set I built for my daughter, Victoria…

I have some very nice toned Canadian cents that were found in change when I was younger.

I normally never even look in the "Coin chat" subforum here because it usually deals with things that I have very little interest in. However, I saw the Canadian Large Cent topic in the recent posts and was pleasantly surprised. I've collected Vicky Large Cents for over 30 years, as a variety collector. I had over 1000 1859's alone at one time, but now down to about 7-800. I have a few thousands of the other dates and Ed's and Geo's as well. Some beautiful coins have been posted. Congrats to the owners. BTW, I may have conversed with some of you on other coin sites, but using a different moniker.

I only recently started collecting Canadian coins, and I don't buy them, I just collect them if I happen to find one. Which means I don't know of alot of designs, so I thought I would post (IMO) my coolest Canadian nickel. I know it's pretty lame next to all those super cool Canadian coins, but I like it.:)

The only Canadian coins I have are the pennies, nickels, and quarters that show up while CRH. I would love to own an older item from Canada.

I've never had a Canadian large cent and really haven't paid much attention to the coinage until you showed yours in the first post. Now you have my interest up.

Entry post. I'm sorry. I don't have the means to take a picture to post. I love Canadian coins. I've lived in many countries because my father was in the Army (U.S.). My collect of those coins were all dated before 1968 which ex three away along with all the letters she wrote to me while I was in the Army.
I mentioned my love for Canadian coins a while ago and a good member of C-T sent me many very nice coins. Almost all of them were straight from the Mint.
My collection before the gift I received, consists o just about a dozen coins from in the 60's and 70's before the generous gift.
I wish to give my thanks to him, who ever he is, and my apologies for losing your address so that I could give him my appreciation. There are very few members that have the gift for giving
Again and again, thank you for your gifts and please send me your address.
    Jim
