close AM

    i have a few cents with the close AM. I thought I read on here somewhere that they're worth a premium. Am I right??:confused:

    Only if they were minted prior to 1993.

    Or the 1992-D Cent and I think all of the Proof Cents with the exception of the 1993-S!

    It's the 1999 S Proof. If it is a "CLOSE AM" it is worth about $700.00 or so. The 1999 S proof is supposed to have a space between the A and M

    Good luck getting that out of them! I know because I sold three of them, two still in the 1999-S Clad Proof Sets and one still in the 1999-S Silver Proof Set.

    There is also a 1998-S "Close AM" Cent which is worth much more than the 1999!
