Long time lurker, first time poster here,... I just got into coin roil hunting, you can thank the West Point mint for that. Unfortunately, I'm only getting rolls of old coins, but I found this one and was wondering what everyone's thoughts were. Is it a clipped planchet, or was it damaged after it left the mint? If it's a clipped planchet, is it worth keeping? The coin has plenty of wear,.. so, any insight would be helpful. Thanks! Chris

Wait for the experts on error coins to give their opinion on what caused the peeling on your coin. I doubt it is a Mint error.
