Clipped Planchet or PMD?

    I think I already know the answer. I'm fairly sure it's PMD, since it's been circulating for a long time (presumably). However, the clipped part is the perfect size to slide another cent into, so I figured I'd ask others.
    What do you think?

    With the way the denticles fade out next to the clip and a little weakness in the rim across from the clip, I think it's legit.

    It looks legit to me too Lon. Evidently it isn't as rare as you might think to find one of these after decades in circulation, last year I found a 1983 canadian cent with a clip that looked much like yours.
