Cleopatra VII 80 Drachma - To Wax or not to Wax?

    The result of the Renwax application is not obviously significant in the photos. I can tell an improvement in hand however. Perhaps the desert patina is too coarse for the wax. Or perhaps I applied too little Renwax (although I applied it liberally). Nonetheless, I am happy with the final result.

    Middle picture: After cleaning but pre-Renwax.
    Bottom picture: After Renwax application.

    Here's a somewhat better photo of the coin that I took today.

    Bronze is tough to photograph!
