Yeah they are magic alright - black magic The coins look great for a while, but evetually the spell changes, the coins all suddenly tone dark black and begin to corrode. But then that's magic for ya :vanish: Canned air is fine, used it myself for years. But care must be taken. For if you do not hold the can almost perfectly upright, liquid propelants squirt out of the can and you do not want those on your coins. Trust me on that one.
I didn't even know there was such a thing called magic cloth , what's it supposed to be used for ? I'll never rub a collectible coin with any cloth , only 70 grit sandpaper , that's guaranteed to get rid of hairlines , now you will have some deep gouge marks but no hairlines:whistle: JK . Rusty
Doug knows about the magic cloth and he approves. in fact he and i were on the same side of an argument with the magic cloth. someone argued that their cloth doesnt damage coins so i and GD dubbed it the magic cloth
I sprayed it upside down on a plastic tiki in my bedroom (I have some random things ) and the plastic chipped off. The liquid propellant will also rust ferrous metals really fast.
