Cleaning my coins

    Lots of you are probably saying nooooo don't do it hhhaha I know I know well here's the results of my steel pennies. top picture what they used to look like. After sitting in Limon juice and water for 14 hours final results [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    Try naval jelly on one like the "before" photos.

    EDIT: Better yet. Since the lemon worked, try soaking in a dilute solution of distilled water and the jelly. You can experiment with the concentration. All we are doing is taking rust off of a steel surface and there are many commercial products to try.

    Naval Jelly has phosphoric acid as the active ingredient. You can also find phosphoric acid in some Calcium/Lime/Rust cleaner products and even in Coca Cola.
