Cleaning coins in ultrasonic jewelery cleaner

    Yeah, but my point is you want to do it with ANY and ALL ammonia ! But then ya wanna do it with anything, everything, you use to clean a coin. And it's what you're using that determines what you want to use to rinse and neutralize with.

    :rolleyes: Always the wise guy huh Jeff :)

    But OK, from a technical perspective, yeah, even distilled water. Ya see, one rinse in distilled water isn't enough. My recommendation is that there always be at least 3 separate rinses in separate clean containers each holding clean distilled water. :p

    But how do you rinse off the water left by that last rinse of... oh, never mind. ;)

    That's what they make scotch for... :)

    Scotch would leave residues, if you are going to use ethyl alcohol go with Everclear 190.
