If you want to clean coins, look for uncleaned coins that are half covered or totally covered with debris. The people who dig these up REALLY know what they are doing, and most of the coins on Ebay they quickly, and correctly, determined they are of no value. </p><p><br /></p><p>I was lucky and was able to buy uncleaned coins 10 years ago frech from the fields with good details, or completely covered so as the diggers had no way of knowing what was under the crust.
