Cleaned up my last 4 remaining ancients.

    Was bored and finished cleaning up the last of my group. Not attributed any of the yet . these were from a great group i purchased over a year ago. They all cleaned up very nice.

    how did you clean/what did you use? Still working on a bunch of romans myself...

    Ive got a fiber glass pick n tool set. Plus olive oil much soaking ect

    Interesting group!! And they seem to be quite nice as well!

    Frankly, I've given up on uncleaned lots since I rarely seem to end up with more than a few that are acceptable to my eyes especially considering the cost and time expended. Decades ago, I used to find some extraordinary coins among these lots, but they seem to be largely 'jerry-picked' these days....but I think it can be an enjoyable and educational experience for those starting out---keeping in mind that most can be purchased in better grades and for similar costs from dealers.
