Cleaned Coins

    I soaked these 2 coins in distilled water for 3 days and got these 2 better scans. The one to the left weighs 7.45 g. The other to the right, just 5.6 g. Appreciate your ID comments. Thanks.. CG O.jpg CGR.jpg

    For the first coin, look for Antiochos. It could be Apollo seated on rocks.

    Not enough detail visible to see the second coin, sorry.

    I believe Apollo is seated not just on "rocks", but on the omphalos, which was considered the navel or center of the world. There were actually several omphali established in the ancient world, the most famous being at Delphi.

    The reverse of the second coin looks like Athena..
