Cleaned Coin, Details Slab, to buy or not to buy, that is the question?

They grew up in collecting without slabs. Learned to grade and authenticate using their own eyes instead of depending on others. Added coins to the collection more slowly, learned more on the way. Like with the coppers, there's a large base of folks who really know their stuff and don't need TPG's within their network.

Gotta agree with you! At first, I was totally angry that it came back cleaned. I got this one off the bay and I'm just not good enough at spotting 'cleaned' every single time. So said, at least it's genuine so that helps.
