Cleaned Cents from Heaven?

    But the Question is now : If it was dipped or clean why would it not say that it has been cleaned?

    b/c a dipping is extremely hard to detect than cleaning

    That would depend on who is doing the dipping. Most dipping seems to be rather easy to see.

    Welcome to the forum.
    And, yes, a lot of dippings are easy to spot, especially when the coin is overdipped, or improperly rinsed. However, if done correctly, it can improve the appearance of the piece.

    I'll throw my 2 cents in here....

    Based on the picture, I would say it has been dipped. The color of the coin still seems an unnatural orange. It could just be the picture though...

    I agree and to me there are to many scratches on it to be a protected enough to be a red without a dip.
